Spanish Tiles artwork Workshop

Wednesday 5th August, 2026.

Yoxall Parish Hall (upstairs), King Street, Yoxall, DE13 8NF.

6.30 pm - 8.30pm

Using Spanish Tiles as inspiration we will create a decorative design using a limited colour palette, and a small amount of collage beneath watercolour paints. Design inspiration will be provided, but feel free to come along with personalised ideas. Each ‘tile’ design will need decorative corners and borders. Lots of tips, suggestions and help will be given. Then these ‘Spanish tiles’ can be mounted on blank cards ideal for a special occasion (provided). Alternatively, they would make beautiful artwork for a small square frame. (Available for a small extra cost if desired).

All materials are provided, no experience necessary, this is a beginner-friendly session.

Parking is free at the local village carpark one minute away on Sudbury Road.

Seasonal Still Life Workshop

Wednesday 2nd September, 2026.

Yoxall Parish Hall (upstairs), King Street, Yoxall, DE13 8NF.

6.30 pm - 8.30pm

A bountiful range of late summer flowers, autumnal goodies will provide our still life set ups, and inspire you to get creative and explore a range of materials from the arts box. There will be chalk and oil pastels, paints and watercolour pencils, a range of background papers and inks and biros too in case that’s what you fancy playing with! As the set up will feature colour, texture and form we will have a micro discussion about drawing the shapes we see, and Bryony will be on hand to give guidance using the chosen medium as well as any little alterations to shapes and proportions as requested. This session is designed to be more of a fun ‘enjoy the process’ instead of creating a framed masterpiece.

Beginners welcome, no pressure, just a chance to enjoy the process of making and exploring mark-making and using a range of materials when drawing from inspirational still life set ups.
